Simple Granola – Just the Recipe

Easy granola that is the perfect topping to any parfait, or grab a handful for a rejuvenating afternoon snack.

Ingredients

  • .5 C Maple Syrup (Use honey for a chunkier granola)
  • .25 C Brown Sugar
  • .25 C Neutral Oil (Canola, Vegetable, Sunflower etc.)
  • .5 tsp Salt
  • 3 C Rolled Oats
  • 1.5 C Dried Fruits (Raisins, Cranberries, Blueberries etc.)
  • 1.5 C Nuts and/or Seeds
  • Any Desired Spices (Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Mace etc.)

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat Oven to 300° f.
  2. Whisk together wet ingredients and salt until oil is fully incorporated.
  3. Add dry ingredients including spices and mix to combine until fully incorporated.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes tossing about half way through, usually around 20 minutes.
